Crusher Liner Design & Drafting
Overview
We got a ripper of a job to design and draft crusher liners. First off, we used a laser scanner to grab the site data in an e57 file format. That data got loaded into our Reverse Engineering Software to clean it up and line everything up just right. Once we had it sorted, we pulled out the key dimensions using Sketch with Mesh.
The Process
With the dimensions in hand, we got stuck into designing the liners using sheet metal, making sure they’d be ready for laser cutting and fit the exact sheet requirements. Once we finished the design, we provided the DXF files and individual drawings so the fabricators could crack on with the manufacturing.
Outcome
Top-notch crusher liners designed and ready for production, complete with all the drawings and files for easy fabrication. This design’s built tough to handle the rig, and with everything sorted, it’s ready to hit the ground running!
