Every month, from February to December, hosting and co-hosting opportunities allow members to affordably showcase their products and services to a diverse member audience. Guests have the opportunity to see the workings of the host business while networking and promoting their own businesses. Free food and drinks are provided, this is a standing event.

To start 2023, our first edition of KBCCI Business After Hours will be hosted by Northern Star Resources and co-hosted by Royal Flying Doctor Service and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides a 24-hour patient retrieval service and remote community health clinics from its Kalgoorlie base. The RFDS flew 1,474 Goldfields patients last year and provided more than 2,000 health appointments in remote communities like Menzies, Rawlinna Station the NG Lands. The Kalgoorlie community provides RFDS with extraordinary support to keep the service flying. Local partners such as Northern Star Resources, the Goldfields Children Charity and Topdrill are among RFDS’ biggest in WA. The service is also strongly supported by the Eastern Goldfields RFDS Fundraising Auxiliary, the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder (including the airport), Shire of Leonora and many wonderful businesses, community organisations and individuals. The Kalgoorlie base is home to 18 RFDS crew members. This year, the base will be expanded to include a new GP and Allied Health Service thanks to Norther Star, Curtin University and the WA Country Health Serv ice.
